Aldo Cipullo – Italian jeweler left Italy for the USA in the late 50s when he was 23 years old. Later he became a famous designer of the House of Cartier. In the 70s he created the famous model of Love bracelets with screws. This bracelet was made in such a way that it could be put on or taken off only with a small screwdriver, which was included in the set, so it was considered an ideal gift for lovers and was very popular.

Following the Love bracelet, the Nail bracelet appeared in 1971. “I have two houses, the second house is a hardware workshop,” its creator liked to repeat at that time. In 1974 he left Cartier and created his own studio Aldo Cipullo, Ltd. In 1984 he died of a heart attack at the age of 48.
