Bettina Von Walhof, an American designer, began creating her wonderful brooches in the early 1990s. Due to their unusualness, brightness and originality, the jewelry immediately became very popular. A little later, her daughter Michelle, also a designer – jeweler, also began to produce jewelry lines together with Bettina. All brooches were marked either Bettina Von Walhof or B&M Von Walhof. Around the mid-2000s, the production of jewelry ended.

The price of Von Walhof jewelry depends on the limited edition of the series and design. Probably one of the most expensive series is the collection based on Valentine’s cards and Halloween characters of the 1940s – 1950s. The price of such brooches varies from $ 300 to $ 2,000. These are usually large brooches, on average 10-12 cm by 5-7 cm in size.

All brooches were made by hand, from jewelry alloy, hematite coating and Swarovski crystals, as well as vintage beads and glass. Less often, natural materials were used.
