The Musi shoe buckle and clip company was formed by Murray Simon in the 1950s when it was fashionable and stylish to wear shoe clips.
The clips were made of dark silver-colored metal and decorated with beads, rhinestones, cabochons. The products were sold by salesmen traveling around the country.
Salesmen distributed products, goods not through a network of stores, but through personal communication with customers.
Musi closed in 2002.
