Brighton was founded by husband and wife team Jerry and Terri Kohl, who had been making accessories since the late 1960s.
In 1991, Terry and Jerry launched Brighton Collectibles with a single collection of belts. Over the years, Brighton has expanded its offerings to include a line of matching accessories and shoes. Customers can choose a lipstick case to match a purse, earrings to match a pair of sunglasses, a handbag to match a pair of shoes, or an entire coordinating collection of several accessories.
Brighton jewelry is made in Taiwan.
Each October, Brighton Collectibles releases its annual “Power of Pink” bracelet, with proceeds going to charities.
