In the mid-20th century, from Buffalo – Josephine (1913-1988) and her younger sister Antoinette (1914-2003) – laid the foundation for a unique jewelry art. After studying jewelry making in the 1950s, they founded their own salon on their native streets of New York. Their creations – silver pieces of the modernist school with the signatures “Jo Catanzaro” and “Toni Catanzaro” – today occupy an honorable place among collectors’ items.
