Legendary model Cheryl Tiegs was born in 1947 in the USA. She grew up in California, where her modeling career began. Cheryl was only seventeen years old when she first walked the runway. “Catwalk Lolitas” – that’s what they later called her and many young models who started their shows early. And then the young and very brave Cheryl became the first model to demonstrate a bathing suit. The words “model” and “supermodel” will come into common use a little later, but for now, girls whose courage, beauty and success are the envy of the entire female population of the globe, began to undress more and more on the pages of magazines, posters and fashion shows. “I think that real beauty is the glow that comes from within. It is this, not cosmetics or clothes, that makes a person beautiful,” says Cheryl Tiegs.

Despite her rather respectable age, and she is now over sixty, Cheryl Tiegs remains extremely active and businesslike – she runs more than one business project and takes part in social events. Still beautiful, Cheryl has some elusive quality that distinguishes a supermodel from just a beautiful woman.

In 1980, Cheryl Tiegs presented her own line of clothing and accessories, exclusively for the Sears chain of stores. This step was innovative for supermodels, and by 1989, the sales volume of her collection reached almost 1 billion dollars.

In 1995, Tiegs created the company Cheryl Tiegs Sportwear, whose products were sold exclusively through the QVC TV store.
Also, in partnership with Revlon, Cheryl developed a series of wigs and related hair products.

The clothing collection was distinguished by an exquisite, but relevant style, which completely corresponded to the impeccable taste of Tiegs herself.
