The creation of the legend in the world of Claude Lalanne jewelry is closely intertwined with the lives of outstanding figures in French art – Claude Lalanne, the famous designer (1924-2019), and her husband, the sculptor François-Xavier Lalanne (1927-2008).

The first joint exhibition of Claude and François-Xavier, entitled “Zoophite”, took place in 1964 at J. Gallery.

Claude Lalanne first presented her works of art in Parisian halls in 1964. She skillfully crafted handmade jewelry elegance: earrings, necklaces, bracelets made of bronze, silver and precious alloys with gilding or pure gold. In the 1970s, her creative canvases adorned flowers on luxury items such as evening bags: anemones, ginkgo and hydrangeas were embodied in elegant motifs.

Les Lalanne’s work combined the fields of fine art, decorative art, jewellery, fashion and design, making them popular among major collectors, including French billionaires François-Henri Pinault and Bernard Arnault.
