In 1934, Victor Primavera, a native of Italy, said goodbye to the family jewelry business and decided to open his own production in the USA. This is how Danecraft appeared – a company that still “holds its brand” in the jewelry market and is one of the most recognizable in North America and Europe… A distinctive feature of Danecraft is the presence of a large “professional” series of brooches – among them you can find insignia for hairdressers, seamstresses, florists, cooks, teachers, and even real estate and antique dealers.
In addition, as a continuation of the old traditions of the Primavera company, the “Danecraft sterling” direction was opened, where exclusive jewelry for the elite from high-quality sterling and gilded silver, pearl jewelry and stylish beaded jewelry continue to be created. The hands of skilled craftsmen imitate masterpieces stylized as antiques. The most popular motifs are Scandinavian floral themes, drawings and ornaments taken from nature.
Danecraft craftsmen still work by hand to this day, allowing themselves to perform only the most unimportant or painstaking operations on the machines. Professional jewelers still consider Danecraft silver jewelry to be one of the best in the post-war years in terms of workmanship and design. The company remains a family brand and exists to this day.
Since 1980, it was decided to start producing a new collection of jewelry “Fancy Brooches”.
