D’Or Jewelry Inc. specialized in the production of costume jewelry from the late 1950s to the mid-1970s, earning a reputation for both design and manufacturing of exclusive jewelry accessories.

D’Or presented two jewelry collections:
The first is the premium series:
- Noble materials were used: silver and gold, reflecting the name of the brand (from the French d’or – gold).
- Craftsmen used natural stones such as onyx, garnet, jade, carnelian, tiger’s eye, hematite and opals.
Also included cultured pearls from mollusks and artistic carving on ivory.

The second is the affordable line:
- Created for a wider audience using synthetic stones, imitation pearls.
- Offered at reduced prices.

Characteristic features of the D’Or style:
- Round brooches in the shape of leaves and flowers, typical of the 1950s-60s.
- Figured brooches with images of animals, elements of fine filigree and complex bone carving.

Particular attention was paid to the theme of the Egyptian revival: the jewelry included multi-colored scarabs – symbols of renewal and transformation.
