Dorene Ltd, founded in Dublin in 1960, specialised in the creation of stylish clothing and accessories, including decorative elements for dresses, suits and coats, which were shown at fashion shows.

During the 1960s, the Dorene brand enjoyed great success, its products were regularly published in Vogue magazine. The company expanded its activities, opening offices in London and Paris. However, the production of Dorene jewellery ceased after about ten years. Today, items from this brand are extremely rare and are valuable exhibits for collectors.

Dorene products were distinguished by fine metalworking, in particular, gold and sterling silver were used. The design often featured Celtic ornaments with complex interweavings, embodying the idea of infinity and the unity of the whole world.

In Dorene’s works, the craftsmen used natural materials such as the rare Irish green stone – Connemara marble, as well as agate, artificial pearls and glass.
