Duri is an American vintage costume jewelry brand based in New Jersey.
**Background**
Duri began in the 1960s as a workshop that created handmade jewelry. The assortment included pieces in the spirit of Art Deco and Art Nouveau, made from sea shells, mother of pearl, pewter, and alloys that imitated silver and gold.

In the 1980s, the company suspended its operations. But in 2000, the Duri brand was revived and officially registered as a retail jewelry store at 249 E Front St, Plainfield, New Jersey 07060.

**Design Features and Aesthetics**
The characteristic design features of Duri jewelry are geometric shapes and laconic lines. The products have recognizable features of the Art Deco and Art Nouveau styles.

Each item usually has the Duri trademark stamp with the copyright notice on the back.
