
DVF (Diane von Furstenberg) is an American brand specializing in the production of women’s clothing, accessories, jewelry and shoes. The founder is Diane von Furstenberg.
1972 – the year the DVF brand was founded. Diane presented the first collection of women’s clothing, including a wrap dress with a V-neck made of jersey. The slogan was: “Feel like a woman, wear a dress!”

1975 – the Diane von Furstenberg fashion house was founded in New York.
1974 – Diane presented a wrap dress with prints, which brought her fame. Over the next five years, the brand sold up to 25 thousand of these dresses a week, and in 1976 the total number of models sold reached 1 million – the DVF brand was the best-selling in the world.

1985 — Diana sold the brand under license and moved to Paris, where she opened the Slavy publishing house.
1997 — the DVF brand was relaunched — Diana bought out her licenses and relaunched clothing production.
2004 — the DVF by H. Stern jewelry collection was presented, created in collaboration with the H. Stern jewelry brand.

Collections
The Sutras line — jewelry glorifying the Indian style, with national Indian ornaments, reinterpreted in a modern way. In 2012, an updated version of the line was presented: rings, earrings, bracelets and pendants made of transparent crystal with engravings and bright yellow gold.
Budget collection — bracelets, necklaces, rings and pendants with simple shapes and smooth lines, using gold, diamonds, colored glass, corals, agates and turquoise.

Awards and achievements
2005 – Diana received the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) award for her contribution to the development of the fashion industry.

2010 – Diana and the Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation founded the DVF Awards – an annual ceremony that presents five awards to women working to solve the world’s most pressing problems.
