Dyrberg Kern is a Danish fashion jewellery brand founded by designers Gitte Dyrberg and Henning Kern. The goal is to create jewellery that highlights the individuality and style of each woman.

The duo Dyrberg and Kern began working together by developing a women’s clothing collection after graduating from the Royal Danish Academy of Arts and Design School. However, they noticed that jewellery and accessories attracted more attention, although they were originally intended only as an addition to outfits. This became the starting point for the creation of the first collection of costume jewellery.

1990 – the brand evolved from a small design studio into a full-fledged company with its own production.
1997 – production was moved to Asia, and only design and marketing remained in Denmark.
2011-2012 – the company decided to expand its business by releasing its first collection in sterling silver. 2010 — The brand’s 25th anniversary was celebrated with the release of the Monogram collection with Dyrberg/Kern monogram coins.
