Ernst Giedon Beck (1872–1945) was a German designer who gained recognition for his unusual handicraft nets crafted from precious metals—silver, gold, and platinum. As early as 1896, he managed the Pforzheim jewelry factory at the Chicago World’s Fair, being appointed general manager.
