Erstwilder is an Australian brand that creates vintage jewelry.

The company’s history began in 2011 with the idea of creating accessories that would not only be beautiful but also become personal companions. The foundation of its unique style was laid by the sketches of designer Louise Camille.

The brand’s name evolved from “Erstwhile” (“once upon a time,” “in the past”) to the more appropriate “Erstwilder” as the designs became increasingly bold and wild.

The brand continues the tradition of whimsical Bakelite brooches from the 1920s and 1930s and the innovative work of designers like Lee Stein and Marie Pavone.

Erstwilder’s uniqueness lies in the fact that each character has its own name and a short story, making each piece a conversation piece and a collector’s item.

Traditionally, the company’s artisans use multilayer resin, metal alloys, and hard enamel to create jewelry, hand-painting each piece, making it unique. Currently, over 500 different designs are available, and each piece is produced in a limited edition.
