The Frank Usher brand was founded in a difficult time for Europe – 1942. Its breakthrough to fame was made by Anne and Max Bruch, a married couple from Germany who managed to survive the Nazi occupation.

The brand became an iconic representative of accessible fashion: it masterfully copied the trends of exclusive Parisian style at significantly reduced prices. From the 1960s to the mid-1990s, Frank Usher experienced incredible success, thanks to which Max Bruch received an honorary place on the board of the British Fashion Export Council.

In the period between the early and late 80s and 90s, the company expanded its portfolio: accessories began to be produced under the brand, including scarves, ties and costume jewelry. Frank Usher designers developed unique jewelry for the collections in collaboration with the leading jewelers of the time. Noble materials were used in production: gold, metal alloys, enamel, resin and crystals. In 1991, Max Bruch’s health deteriorated sharply; three years before his death in 2000, Anne took over the reins of the fashion house, successfully leading it for ten years.
