Behind the designer’s shoulders are years of successful and fruitful work as a designer in well-known jewelry houses. When the idea of starting a company came up, Glenn was no longer a newcomer to the jewelry business. In addition to his position as director of the Christie’s auction house, he was engaged in dealer work, selling precious stones around the world. Therefore, a new business, by definition, could not fail to bring its creator success.

Stages of development of the Glenn Spiro brand

The first step was to build a customer base. Until the moment of creating his own workshop, Glenn was known only as a designer of other brands. But, as it turned out, he himself is also capable of a lot. Using all his knowledge and experience gained during his work in the jewelry industry, he begins to carry out private orders.

Over time, the workshop moved from Los Angeles to Geneva (Switzerland). The office of the company became the house of Glenn himself: here he receives private clients, comes up with designs for new jewelry, demonstrates collectible samples of products and stones. The brand does not differ in productivity: no more than 200 products are released per year, but this slowness hides the painstaking work of developing the design of the product and bringing it to life.

The passion of the jeweler

It is not for nothing that Glenn Spiro jewelry is considered a good investment. He belongs to the type of jewelers who are hunted by collectors and auctions, their jewelry is vying with each other to exhibit in the largest stores. The small volume of production of products, single copies and work with individual orders brought the master a good reputation.

Glenn’s jewelry is soaring, airy, attractive and very bright. Some of them can even move, such as the famous pink butterfly ring made of titanium. Sapphires, rubies, diamonds “settled” on its air wings. And let the decoration resemble a child’s toy, but it is unusual and very original.

In general, all brand products are dynamic and voluminous. They seem to come to life, move, shimmer. The master does not skimp on stones. He has a special love for emeralds. Small and large green minerals can be found in almost any ring, pendant, brooch or earring.

In addition to the excellent quality of stones, the jeweler uses rather non-trivial frames for them. What is the transformer ring: it is made in the form of a flower with large emeralds inside, the petals of which open. And so each piece of jewelry – it can be reincarnated, change color from different angles of view, be transformed or used not entirely for its intended purpose. This is the whole Glenn – he wants and knows how to give people miracles, to please, and not just to decorate women and men with faceless products.
