Halbe vintage costume jewelry 1930-1950
The founder of the Halbe company Rudolf Halbe – a famous Polish landscape artist and his wife Erna, who emigrated to California, USA in 1919.
Halbe produced inexpensive, exquisite jewelry in the Art Deco style, which was sold in its own jewelry stores in Oakland and Piedmont, California, as well as in boutiques on 5th Avenue in New York and in Toronto, Canada.
