Marvella firm is one of the oldest and was founded in 1911 in Philadelphia by H. Weinrich Company, inc, choosing the Marvella trademark. Jewelry of the first years is an imitation of jewelry with pearls and diamonds. Imitation pearls, diamond rhinestones – these are the main materials used by the company.

Gradually, the assortment expanded and began to include colored cut glass and crystal, Beijing glass, iridescent aurora borealis rhinestones.

The company’s favorite costume jewelry is necklaces made of artificial pearls, glass beads and lucite, bracelets, clips and brooches made of the same materials. Much attention was paid to the publication of advertising catalogs.

In 1982, Marvella, Trifari, Monet merged and placed production in Providence (Rhode Island), and in 2000 Monet Group was bought by Liz Claiborn and production left the USA altogether.
