In 1914, a few steps from the Place de la Concorde, at number 7 rue Saint-Florentin, in an 18th-century private mansion with Art Deco interior architecture, a young fashion designer named Jean Patou opened your fashion house. Without even expecting it, Jean Patou instantly became both a symbol of good taste and seduction, discreet and sophisticated elegance and at the same time an image of modernity and daring innovation.

The audacity of young Jean Patou (Jean Patou) allowed him at the very beginning of the 20s. make a revolutionary revolution in fashion. He invents sportswear, creates the first cardigan, the first tennis skirt, the first leotard… It was Jean Patou who dresses tennis champion Suzanne Lenglen, as well as Josephine Baker, elegant ladies of high society, queens of Romania and Spain. Jean Patou was the first to launch a tanning product, the famous Oil of Chaldea, and he was the first to use the monogram of his initials as a stylistic element.

Is it any wonder that it was Jean Patou, immediately after the crash of 1929, who had the unimaginable audacity to release on sale the most expensive and most sophisticated perfume – Joy, which included the rarest and most precious flowers…

This elusive harmony between lush exuberance and refinement, this search for the highest quality is reflected in all Jean Patou perfumes: from the first created in 1925 to the most recent: EnJoy and Sira des Indes. All Jean Patou fragrances consist of natural ingredients – the noblest and rarest. Thus, the House of Jean Patou has fields of jasmine (Jean Patou is the world leader in jasmine consumption) and May rose in Grasse, which produce the most beautiful scents in the world… and also the most expensive.

Each Jean Patou perfume bottle is crafted and packaged according to the age-old handcrafted tradition: perfume bottles are made of polished and smooth glass, then decorated with gold leaf and filled drop by drop. The traditional “ground” glass stopper and the final hand sealing with gold thread – all this makes each bottle of Jean Patou extract a real jewel.
