It is reported that from 1978 to 1987, Nicole worked as a designer for Murray Shapiro, operating under the names Heirloom 73 and Vintage Creations.

Her signature style was Art Deco jewelry – exquisite brooches, bracelets, earrings and other jewelry. Precious metals, precious stones and crystals were used in the production.
In 1987, Nicole founded the family business, officially registering it as Jenna Nicole Collection Ltd. Inc. and began selling her products in prestigious department stores, including Saks Fifth Avenue in New York.
