Eduard Nikitin was born in Chelyabinsk, where he graduated from the sculpture department of the Chelyabinsk Art College and worked for almost a decade at the Chelyabinsk Art Products Factory as the chief artist. Creative searches and the desire for constant development led him to an internship in Finland in the late nineties. There, Eduard Vitalievich worked for several years at the private enterprise “Rantanen’s Artistic Fund”, creating religious objects from silver. In recent years, he has been working with gold.

– Only this material allows revealing my intention, – says the master. – Jewelry is art! Creating them requires calmness, regularity. I do many of my works for a long time, with reflection, focusing on my taste, my idea.

The word “products” cannot be applied to Eduard Nikitin’s jewelry. These are fully works of art with their own theme, worked out over the years. Recognizable at any jewelry exhibition. Eduard Nikitin has received many awards at the most prestigious exhibitions, his works are kept in museum collections in Russia, Finland, the Czech Republic, Israel, as well as in private collections in these countries and in Belgium, Germany, the USA, Luxembourg.

For more than 10 years, Eduard Nikitin has been a regular participant in the “Symphony of Gems” and remembers these years as the best in his life.

– It was a club – living craftsmen, living buyers, passionate interest in the topic presented. For a creative person, the atmosphere is important, it allows you to grow. That’s what happened at the show!

Today, the master takes part in the most prestigious jewelry exhibitions. This year, his works were presented in Gokhran at the exhibition “Man-made connection of times”. The works of Eduard Nikitin were accepted for participation in the exhibition of jewelry and stone-cutting art “Masters of Russia”, which will be held from February 24 to March 26, 2023.
