The history of the jewelry brand D Torem Renclif Inc. dates back to 1970 in Providence, Rhode Island. Initially, it was a private company managed by Clifford Henry Stern (1921-2018).

A key figure in the creation of jewelry was Dorothy Hal Torem (born in 1940) – a talented jeweler, artist, photographer and author. A small but experienced team of 25 craftsmen and jewelers created jewelry that found its customers all over the world.

The design of the products often used images of nature, as well as patriotic, animal and current fashion trends.

In the 1980s, the company demonstrated significant financial success, reaching a profit of several million dollars. According to the 2001 Register of Rhode Island Manufacturers, the company continued to operate. However, it is likely that after a change in management and a merger with other companies in the early 2000s, jewelry production ceased.
