In 1990, in the state of Massachusetts, in the city of Stoughton, the jewelry brand “REN.” appeared. It became part of the brand portfolio of the company Spoontiques Inc. The manufacturer’s name “Ren.” is an abbreviated form of the name Renata K., a talented designer who worked at Spoontiques in the 90s. Renata K. designed exclusive brooches using tin, metal alloys and enamel.

Interestingly, other jewelry artists who worked with Spoontiques, such as Jonette Jewelry (in the 80s), created similar products. Such works are marked as “JJ” and “Spoontiques”.

Over the half-century of its existence, Spoontiques has introduced a number of brands to the world, including “Gift Today, Treasure Tomorrow” (existed from 1991 to 2016), “Lifestyle etc. by Renata K.” (1991 to 2003) and Pin Art (2002 to 2013). Unfortunately, in 2016, Spoontiques, Inc. went bankrupt and ceased operations. But in 2018, Kenneth Sawyer bought Spoontiques, Inc., becoming the owner and president of the revived company. Spoontiques is now a well-known wholesale gift company offering a wide range of home, kitchen, garden, jewelry, and decorative items.
