John Fraser Inverness is a jewellery brand that was founded by Scottish jeweller John Fraser in the city of Inverness.
History of the Master
In the 1930s, John Fraser began his career in jewellery making, completing an apprenticeship at the Medlock & Craik workshop in Inverness. He later founded his own company called Silvercraft.
Fraser was known for his ability to create jewellery from silver, complementing it with semi-precious stones. He was especially famous for his clan insignia, rings, brooches and pendants. Each creation bore the hallmarks “JF INS” (John Fraser of Inverness), “Edinburgh silver” and the year of issue.

Range
Among the jewellery produced under the John Fraser Inverness brand, the following can be highlighted:
- a Celtic-style brooch made of high-grade silver and decorated with smoky quartz;
- pendant with a Celtic ornament, made of sterling silver;
- brooch, stylized as a traditional Scottish symbol “crowned heart”, made of silver.

Today, products of this brand can be found on sites specializing in the sale of vintage jewelry.
