Joseph Wiesner was founded by German-born Joseph Wiesner in New York on Fifth Avenue.
He completed orders for well-known jewelry companies of the time.
Joseph Wiesner’s pieces feature a classic design, an abundance of sparkling Austrian crystals, are reminiscent of Eisenberg’s pieces and are highly collectible.

Luxury handmade jewelry was sold in gift cases on silk as expensive jewelry.
Jewelry from this company was produced in limited quantities and is quite rare.
Product labels: “Wiesner”, “Joseph Wiesner”, “Joseph Wiesner NY” and “Astra”.

An interesting fact: one of the transactions in 1949 led to an arrest, a charge of violating the Gold Reserve Act, and a charge of fraud. Lawsuits that lasted from 1952 to 1954 led to the collapse of the company.
