B.B. Greenberg Co., which was founded in 1962 in Providence, the jewelry mecca of the United States. The head of the firm was Burley B. Greenberg, who, by the time he started his own business, had thirty years of experience in the Brier Manufacturing Co., a jewelry company engaged in the production of artificial diamond jewelry. Brier Manufacturing Co. produced jewelry under the resonant and memorable Mamselle brand.
