The history of the Marena & Eros jewelry house spans almost half a century – from the 1940s to the 1990s.

This creative union produced their jewelry in small series. A distinctive feature of the brooches and pendants were decorative gilded tassels or chains made in the spirit of the Art Deco style.

For their work, the craftsmen invariably used porcelain, silver, 18-karat gold, semi-precious stones, as well as mother-of-pearl, onyx, Austrian crystals and sparkling rhinestones.

Each product bears a stylized “Eros” sign on the back or a “Marena” stamp containing copyright information, the inscription “Handarbeit” (handmade) and an indication of the country of origin – “W. Germany”.

Nowadays, vintage brooches and pendants from Marena and Eros are valued as collectibles and are in high demand.
