The Imperial Pearl Company produced vintage costume jewelry under the Marslieu brand from 1928 to 1948.

Initially, Marslieu products consisted of meticulously handcrafted accessories for theatrical and carnival costumes. They were crafted using materials such as sterling silver, plated gold, sparkling crystals, and faux mother-of-pearl beads.

Each piece was hallmarked with the handwritten “Marslieu” name and the inscription “Sterling Silver Pat Pend” on an engraved oval field.

Frederick J. Pearsall was the brand’s leading designer.
