Here are some examples of vintage jewelry from the NGA collection:
* The “Fragile Iris” brooch. Its dimensions are 6 x 2.5 cm; it is made of jewelry alloy, gold plating, and patina. The period of creation is 1970-1979.
* A brooch made in the spirit of the Renaissance. It is inspired by a hatpin in the portrait of Juan de Flandes “Adoration of the Magi” (Netherlands, 1508-1519). The decor includes an oval glass cabochon of a deep blue hue and imitation pearls.
* Brooch “Flowers in a Basket”. Made of alloy with gold leaf coating (24K), its diameter is 4.3 cm, year of issue – 1995. The basis was a painting by Jan Brueghel the Elder.
