Paper Jewelry by Nel Linssen
A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts of Arnhem (Netherlands), Nel Linssen is best known for the designs of sinuous bracelets and necklaces. To create them, she cut and folded paper, silicone tubes, nylon threads, and plastic in a certain way.
Elastic jewelry combines various colors of thread and paper, has beautiful transitions from one shade to another. Nel builds round jewelry in various ways from vertically stacked and layered structural elements.

“My work arises intuitively and empirically. I am constantly looking for logical constructions, new rhythms and structures. I use paper as my own means of expression.” – says the designer.

Nel Linssen’s unique paper jewelry has been exhibited all over the world: in the United States of America, Italy, Germany, France, Austria, Belgium, Sweden, Scotland, Canada, Spain and Portugal.
