The history of the Paul Brandt company begins in Paris at the turn of the 20th century and covers a period of 40 years. The founder of the brand was Paul-Emile Brandt, born in Switzerland in 1883 and moving to the French capital. Here he laid the foundations of his activities, creating products in the spirit of Art Nouveau, experimenting with various techniques and preferring naturalistic design.

In the era after the First World War, Brandt turned his attention to the rapidly gaining popularity of the Art Deco style. His works of that time – jewelry and cigarette cases – are highly valued today at auctions, distinguished by the bright colors and geometric shapes characteristic of the 1920s.

After the Second World War, Brandt changed the direction of his work, focusing on the production of hardware. The master’s life ended in Paris in 1952, leaving behind a rich legacy in the history of jewelry art.
