The history of the Poul Warmind jewelry brand begins in the 1960s in Denmark. Poul Warmind, known as a skilled metalworker, worked in the small town of Kirke Soby.
He trained as a goldsmith in the workshop of A. Dragsted, and then opened two of his own shops in Copenhagen, where he worked not only with gold, but also with silver, bronze and tin. Eventually, he stopped producing gold jewelry, considering it “too speculative.”
After the 1970s, jewelry production seems to have declined. According to vintage jewelry sellers, Warmind began selling his products again through his website in the 2000s. Items made in Warmind’s workshop usually bear his full name or just his surname on the back of the piece.
