
The founder of the VanLeles Diamonds jewelry brand is Vania Leles. She is dedicated to creating contemporary jewelry. In the past, she was a model of Afro-Portuguese descent.
As an international model, Vania Leles has repeatedly demonstrated jewelry from small jewelry companies in New York, London and Paris. This experience helped her to better understand what kind of unique designer jewelry are.
The passion for jewelry took on a different meaning when Leles went to study at the world-renowned Gemological Institute of America (GIA), where she developed her skills alongside industry craftsmen.

After completing her studies, Vania moved to London where she worked for some of the most respected brands in the jewelry industry, including Graff Diamonds, De Beers and Sotheby’s jewelry division. Working with such masters, Vania has learned how to find and then use rare beautiful diamonds and gemstones, creating extraordinary bespoke jewelry for exclusive clients, including royalty.
She oversaw auctions for some of the most prestigious figures of the century, organizing the sale of rare jewels such as those that belonged to the Duchess of Windsor, as well as the Graff Pink diamond, one of the most expensive gemstones ever sold at auction.

Starting her company, Vania Leles decided to focus on making ultra-feminine high quality jewelry. From the outset, Vania has continued to create perfectly crafted jewelry using rare and unique stones and in particular the highest quality conflict-free diamonds.
As a direct witness to the illicit diamond trade in Africa, Vania Leles is personally involved in the search for all diamonds and gemstones. To this end, she constantly travels the world in search of the rarest and most beautiful gems obtained from ethical and sustainable sources.
