Valentino Garavani is a line of accessories, shoes, and bags bearing the full name of designer Valentino Garavani. It is part of the main Valentino brand, which includes several key lines:
Valentino Garavani – an accessories line;
Red Valentino – a more youthful, romantic, and affordable line, which existed from 2003 to 2021;
Valentino Haute Couture – a high fashion line with shows in Paris and Rome;
Valentino Ready-to-Wear – ready-to-wear collections.

1959 – Garavani opened his own studio on Via Condotti in Rome.
1960 – He registered the Valentino brand. That same year, he met architecture student Giancarlo Giammetti, who became Garavani’s business partner.

1962 — The Valentino Gotha show took place in Florence, featuring red dresses that later became the brand’s signature.
1968 — The Collezione Bianca collection was created, featuring dresses in white, cream, chalk, sand, ecru, and beige. The designer embellished the pieces with embroidery in the shape of the letter V, the fashion house’s logo.

2010 — The Rockstud motif was created, becoming an integral part of the accessories line: bags, shoes, wallets, and belts.
2021 — The brand’s creative director, Pierpaolo Piccioli, introduced the Roman Stud design, a larger version of the original Rockstud motif.

September 2022 — The Maison Valentino Pink PP collection was presented, introducing the brand’s new signature color, Pink PP. The house collaborated with the Pantone Color Institute to create a custom pink shade.
