The Vigneri jewelry brand was created in California between 1982 and 1990 by Frank and Anne Vigneri.
The couple chose plastic – plexiglass – for their sculptural designs. All Vigneri jewelry was individually designed and handcrafted. Frank worked with the plastic material, while Anne started in the studio by polishing and finishing bracelets.

At the peak of production, Vigneri employed twenty workers. Wholesale clients included Macy’s, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, and Nordstrom, as well as many smaller boutiques. Vigneri jewelry has also appeared in Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar.

One of their most notable accomplishments was creating twenty unique pieces of jewelry for the third film in the Star Wars franchise, Return of the Jedi.
The Vigneris currently continue to work as artisans in California, although they no longer make jewelry. Their latest venture is a product called “Vigneri Candle Opera”, a wood veneer candle holder hand painted with unique designs.
