Botticelli 1958

The history of the Giovanni Botticelli brand began in the “Golden 50s” – the years when men’s fashion was changing. From now on, the distinctive features of the men’s wardrobe are elegance, simplicity and severity. Shirts with a high collar and an elegant tie came into fashion. During this period, the Italian Giovanni Botticelli decided to found his own company for sewing ties and neck scarves.
The enterprise was a dizzying success, and Giovanni Botticelli took on the production of shirts to individual orders. Gradually, orders increased, and in 1958 Botticelli opened a studio.

1963

In the early 60s, the new generation of Modos picked up the style of dressing dandy. The Modos style became extremely popular among young people. Nylon shirts paired with a thin tie are gaining more and more fans. The number of orders is increasing. In 1963, Giovanni Botticelli opens a shirt factory.

1986

Giovanni Botticelli shirts, combining comfort and freedom, classics and casual style, originality and tradition, are gradually gaining popularity outside of Italy. 1986 – the opening of the first international representative office of the company and the launch of the second factory in Turkey. The exclusive product is appreciated in many European countries.

2003

At the beginning of the 21st century, the Giovanni Botticelli brand comes to Russia: in 2003, the company opens its representative office in Moscow, and in 2005, it transfers the exclusive international rights to the Giovanni Botticelli trademark to a Russian entrepreneur. Thus began a new, Russian stage in the history of the brand. In 2007, the first Giovanni Botticelli store opened in Russia, and by 2010 there were already 15 of them. Such rapid growth indicates that the interested public has appreciated the company’s products. The brand has found many fans who value Giovanni Botticelli for its original design and high-quality materials.
