Capri Capri Jewelry NYC. NY, was founded, incorporated, and entered on the New York Public Register on March 22, 1949. Like many other jewelry manufacturers of that era, Capri did not have its own designer, but entered into contracts on the side, mainly with the designer of the FLORENZA jewelry company, Daniel Kosovsky, which is probably why some of the jewelry designs of these brands are so similar. Also, Capri Jewelry NYC actively cooperated with other jewelry companies, using them for commercial purposes as exclusive trusted partners, including Du Boyes Inc., Arke Inc., and a number of others, they, by mutual agreement, produced jewelry, designed for Capri.

In addition, Capri did not hesitate to buy sometimes samples for resale. It must be thought that this approach was justified, in any case, collectors and connoisseurs like me consider the design and execution of Capri jewelry to be of very good quality. This, incidentally, follows from the fact that in 1956 Capri Jewelry Inc. has shown its products in six of the most prestigious department stores throughout the United States.

During its existence, Capri Jewelry Inc. has released a few collections of jewelry, but what has been done has a beautiful and unique design.

The diversified activities of Capri Jewelry Inc. could not help but have enemies, so she sued several times. Oddly enough, one of these proceedings took place in 1975, although already in 1973 Capri Jewelry Inc. actually teamed up with renowned jewelry designer Jerry De Nicola Inc. Capri Jewelry Inc went out of business between 1993 and 1994, although it was legally registered until July 15, 1996. The doors were finally closed in 1977.

Until 1955, the Capri jewelry company marked Capri jewelry, and after 1955, an author’s signature was added.

There is some confusion between Capri and design house De Nicola. In fact, according to Lillian Backer’s post in her book Fifty Years of Fashion Jewelry 1925-1975, Capri Jewelry Inc. actually teamed up with renowned jewelry designer Jerry De Nicola Inc. in 1973.

Capri Jewelry Inc until 1955 was marked as Capri, and after 1955 it was supplemented with a copyright icon copyright.
