Revlon Inc., founded ninety years ago in New York City, is a world-renowned cosmetics and fragrance manufacturer. Beginning with the production of colorful nail polishes, thanks to the efforts of brothers Charles and Joseph Revson and chemist Charles Lachman, the company quickly gained popularity. Despite the economic crisis of the time, by 1938, Revlon had become a multimillion-dollar company.

As the corporation expanded, it established subsidiaries in various US states: Delaware, New Jersey, Arizona, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Florida, California, and others. Additionally, branches were opened in Mexico City, London, Paris, Tokyo, and Sydney.

The product line expanded significantly, encompassing everything from nail care and perfumes to clothing and even doll accessories. Among Revlon’s many trademarks, six jewelry brands were represented, including Revlon, Little Miss Revlon, Charlie (1992), Unforgettable, Jean Nate, and Almay (1993). Interestingly, all of these jewelry divisions were discontinued in the early 2000s.

Furthermore, in the early 1970s, the company began producing exquisite perfume lockets and brooches styled like perfume bottles. These jewelry pieces were often used to advertise and promote the brand’s fragrances and cosmetics.
