The Los Castillo brand unites the talents of the four brothers of the Castillo family, Antonio, Jorge, Miguel, Justo and Margot van Voorhis Carr, who became professionally known as Margot de Taxco, the wife of one of the brothers, Antonio Castillo. Almost all currently known Mexican craftsmen gained experience in the workshop of Thaler de las Delicias, an enterprising American.
In 1939, they left the workshop to open their own store and immediately began to implement the accumulated ideas and projects. Over time, the products of the Castillo brothers’ workshop became very popular and were sold in numerous stores in the United States. The brothers’ business was taken over by their descendants and to this day the family enterprise with the Los Castillo trademark produces silver jewelry that is known and deservedly appreciated all over the world.
