Michael Koch founded Caratell in 2004 in Singapore with his wife Achillea Teng. Michael Koch was born into a family of jewelers.
At the age of 18, Michael received an international award in the field of jewelry design, has many awards, such as the prestigious international award De Beers. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in silversmithing, he opened his first atelier in 1995.
