Yuri Drobakha was born May 18, 1948 in the hero city of Sevastopol. Higher education.

Yuri graduated from the Sevastopol Instrument-Making Institute and moved to Leningrad. In the northern capital, other hobbies appeared – chasing, jewelry, mineralogy. Yuri learned how to carve intaglios on hard stone, studied the jewelry worn by the ancient Greeks and Romans, and never forgot about coins.
Today, the Yuri Drobakha ‘s collection includes several rings with denarii – coins of the ancient world, rings with coins of Panticapaeum, Rome, Byzantium, etc. could not only be shown at the exhibition, but also worn in real life. Casts from intaglio (stone carving) became the basis for jewelry. In the author’s collection you can see necklaces and rings with images of gods and heroes of ancient myths – Zeus, Helios, Pan, Griffin, Pallas Athena, etc., made of silver.
